alonewiththemoonLast night in Amira Jamal's class, I progressed from "your zills are lousy" to "you are better than you think you are with the zills, stop concentrating so hard and just dance, it will be fine." Now that's a milestone... In celebration, I'm going to use zills this Sunday at the Middle East, I really am.
Class was generally good, our full routine improv section was less AmCab than usual so I felt the music more than usual and enjoyed myself. Two nights in a row of good dancing makes me crave another, but I'm going to The Glass Set's CD release party at the Abbey Lounge tonight instead. Tomorrow night I can dance, in between baking pumpkins and preparing pie crust...
