serendipity
Jul. 5th, 2004 01:51 pmThe big fat raindrops hitting the air conditioner are exactly in time to the Rajna song I'm listening to.
It's a good day for Projekt and listening to the rain. And for painting the bathroom, which is what I will do once it finally dries out from the morning's showers. I actually find painting walls very relaxing and meditative. And I will be overjoyed when the bathroom walls are fresh and clean.
Today is the second day in a row that I am just staying home and getting little things done. Yesterday I woke up in a hungover state (i can't imagine why, it's not like I consumed a gallon or so of wine with added rum ;) and took the day gently as a result, yet still did a lot of things. I reorganized CDs, did some more beading on the living room lightshade, scraped the grout off the tiles of my mosaic table (one more coat of grout sometime today, one last scraping, and it's done!), washed some dishes, watched an inspirational DVD of bellydance performances, did some computer maintenance, and finished off the day by watching disc 5 of Witch Hunter Robin. Mathew was out at a rehearsal all afternoon, so it was all my music all day long as well. Being less hungover would have made it a better day, to be sure, but it was still the kind of day I needed. And now I am doing it all over again! Ha!
Hopefully though I will make it out to Ceremony tonight, at least for the first hour. If I've returned to humanity by then.
