I have no idea why, but i've had such an urge to bake stuff recently. I think I can smell some kind of apple-y thing baking downstairs in catering, and it makes me want to rush right home and start mixing. I have this recipe for black stout cake with whiskey icing that's been just calling to me, and I even have some stout in the fridge. But I have no eggs, and no time to buy eggs, and if I did have eggs I would have no time to bake anything with them. Sigh.
