Raks Spooki V, October 17!

Save the date--Raks Spooki V will take place on Sunday, October 17 at the Regent Theatre Underground in Arlington, MA!

Information about performing, vending, etc will be forthcoming in late spring/early summer.

Back at the underground theater? I shall be there regardless. It's always a good show!

Yeah, there were a lot of reasons for that. The big stage is nice, but there were a *lot* of behind the scenes issues last year, the increased cost really cut into the donation for Women for Women (and couldn't cover the DVDs) and the overall attendance was the same as the previous year in the downstairs. So all in all it made more sense to go back underground. I think people really like the community kind of feel the downstairs has, what with the little gothic shopping mall and the closeness of stage to audience.

Would you be open to a performer applicant from as far away as I am? I don't want to take up the space if you'd rather keep it local, but I am potentially interested =)

Sure, I'm open to applicants from anywhere, though of course you'd have to deal with your own travel arrangements, accommodations, etc.
