Paisley

Dilboy VFW, Davis Square

371 Summer Street, Somerville

Suggested donation:  $20 (or pay what you can)

 

Featuring open floor dancing with DJs Anechoic and Punketta Doilie, poetry readings, burlesque, banjos and belly dance along with a silent auction of fabulous items from artists, artisans and local merchants

 
In December 2007, Paisley was riding her bicycle down the street minding her own business when wham!  she was hit by a truck.  She suffered traumatic injuries and still faces a long road to recovery.  During this recovery, she is largely unable to work, and so we hold this party for her, both to celebrate her survival and to raise funds to ensure her continued wellbeing in Boston.

Posted to bostoncycling, and I dropped off some flyers at Landry's on Comm. Ave. I can't seem to make it to the other bike stores before they close for the evening. :/
