the days continue to go by

alonewiththemoon5 people are watching the costume I listed on eBay. I hope that is a sign of genuine interest; having never done this before, I have no way to judge. I know I only watch things if I'm really interested, but I'm a relatively casual eBay user. I can see how this auctioning thing can get kind of addictive; I'm already looking around my house to see what else I can list. This is generated more by a desire to declutter than to make money, but money would be nice too. I have a bunch of BPAL imps, all those rosy florals, that I will list for sure.
Long weekend was full of ups and downs. Apart from the emotional toll of Seti's illness, I have not slept an uninterrupted full night's sleep since maybe two weekends ago, and I'm really starting to feel it. But there were a few positive things. Saturday I figured out how to edit the footage I transferred from my video camera to the computer and how to create a DVD that actually plays in a DVD player. Hello 21st century, I have arrived! Saturday and Monday I got some decent work done on We Daret el Ayam. I'm filming myself tonight at Green Street Studio; it needs more work and I'm not in the best mental place but I will have to pay for the studio I reserved whether I show up or not, so I might as well see what I can do. My foot is actually not too bad. I think my new policy of no footwear at all when the floor will allow it is distributing the effort in/helping strengthen my foot and ankle muscles more evenly. Sunday we had dinner at Finz (the Dedham one, not Salem) for M's mother's birthday, where I had some super rich pumpkin ravioli in cream sauce with seared scallops, really delicious.
Carrying my camera tripod on the T this morning I felt like somebody else on her way to doing something fabulous.
We are seeing the vet tomorrow. I am not expecting a good outcome, apart from an end to suffering. He has that look.
