alonewiththemoonMy obliques are killing me and my calves don't work and my knee is swollen but class with Najmat tonight made me so happy. Yummy squishy moves and sharp precision moves and big moves and small moves and cane stuff as a bonus. I'm starting to get the feel of how to let my neck and head move on top of other movements and I can see in the mirror right in front of me that it makes a difference in the overall appearance of my dancing. I am so sore but I needed a class like this after my frustrating dancing yesterday. Yay for renewed confidence!
My super ugly boombox arrived today. i would provide a link to a picture of it, but the photos don't even begin to do it justice--it's the Sony Xplod and it rather resembles a monster truck. However, it's got 20 watts of output baby so it's beautiful to me! Figured if I'm regularly sponsoring and occasionally teaching workshops then I ought to have my own portable sound system. In a pinch, this could be used for performance sound as well. It definitely needs a good name...
Wow, Celestial Seasonings really changed Bengal Spice tea since the last time I bought it. I don't think it used to have that vanilla sweetness. It's not bad but I wanted the old stuff.
