Tried to take the ferrets out for a walk this evening, but we were foiled by downpours.  Still, the ferrets were thrilled by the half-block walk they got, so we'll make a habit of this in the summer months when they have to stay in the air conditioned room all day.

Watched Pippi on the Run, and suddenly so many things about my life were made so clear to me.  I must get more Pippi movies, especially Pippi in the South Seas.  Would anybody else be interested in a Pippi filmfest?

Annika is exactly as annoying as I remembered, only more so.

First Xena, now Pippi - when it comes to our taste in characters, we have a lot in common. Hell yes, I'd love to see one of those movies again - haven't seen them since I was a kid.

Pippi! I would try to come for a Pippi filmfest. I haven't seen any of them - just read the books. Do the characters look right?

To me they look exactly right, but then again I grew up with the books and movies simultaneously, so that could be why. The books I had contained the old pen and ink drawings, though, and they looked like the movie characters...
