Electronics Recycling frustration
Apr. 8th, 2010 03:39 pmI hate like hell to toss old VCRs, printers, stereo components, etc on the curb. But I'm finding out that it's enormously expensive--more expensive than some of these things cost in the first place--to recycle them. It's really frustrating. Staples will take small stuff like phones and cameras and desktop computers/monitors if you pay them a little, but this other stuff is looking grim.

Anybody want a used but functional VCR? ... yeah, I thought not. Well, I guess it is what it is. .
