This sounds awful:

David Cunningham, director of Fox Walden's upcoming fantasy film Dark Is Rising, told SCI FI Wire that the film takes a few liberties by changing elements of Susan Cooper's Newbery-winning 1973 novel. Adapting the trippy fantasy book, the second in a five-volume series, called for some rethinking, Cunningham said in an interview on the film's set in Bucharest, Romania, on May 15.

Ronan's doing ok tonight. M got some food into him earlier, and he's tottered around the apartment a couple of times since I got home. But he fought the food, and he is tottering rather than walking, so tomorrow we're going back to the vet, where I imagine they will hook him up to an IV and perhaps do some bloodwork to make sure there's not something bigger going on (there is strong anecdotal support for a link between IBD and lymphoma, though no conclusive studies have been done). I keep thinking there is something more I could be doing but I am at the limits of what somebody who is not a vet can do and I have to accept that.

Lolly's Remedies!

rojagato , I was just wrestling with the vcr and inadvertantly discovered on channel 3 that Arlington cable shows Lolly's Remedies!  I think it was a relatively recent episode as it was pirate themed.  She was wearing a fetching black and white pinstriped pvc power dress suit and shook skull maracas at her blender to keep it from blowing up.  I have no idea what the drink was, but it was garnished with gummy frogs and alligators.  I'm so happy she's still doing her thing!
