I love Joss Whedon. Oh, indeed I do. Even when he makes me cry.

That's all I'll say, so as not to be all spoilery for anyone else. I will gloat a little though over having seen the film already, and over the fact that Sean Maher (Simon) and Morena Baccarin (Inara) were there in person to introduce the movie. We made them cry from all the love.

I can't wait to see it again.

I echo your sentiments. I'll be back to see it lots. Heck, I might make it a weekly habit for as long as it's in the theaters.

Sean and Morena were so hot! I especially liked the "jetlagged and hung over" comments. :)

I think that "open letter to Joss" by SimonSays is the most ridiculous thing ever. If that's not your idea of a grand time at the movies, then you obviously have the wrong expectations! I thought your post about the Whedonverse was spot-on.

It's funny, usually actors are somewhat plain-looking in person, but they looked just as good in person as on screen. Morena Baccarin really does glow! Even when jet-lagged and hungover!

See, that's what I hate about fans sometimes (like I just wrote). They get so wrapped up in their characters, they can't handle any kind of change.

I did dream about people chasing me who kept shifting into Reavers. It wasn't exactly a nightmare though because I was able to get away pretty easily.
