delightfully creepy
Best moment in last night's Lost:
"Your move, Mr. Eko."
Next best moment: self-sacrificing sexy-kissing somehow-shirtless Sawyer striding out of the ocean as though nothing were amiss.
An interesting thing about Jeremy Bentham is his concept of the auto-icon, that which represents the self but is not the self. In the real Jeremy Bentham's case, his own dead body is his auto-icon, preserved in a glass and wood case at University College London. He has attended College Council meetings, listed as present not voting.
Jack seems doomed to schlep around coffins for the island.
CS Lewis there was intriguing. I wonder if she could have been Ben's girlfriend, back when they were children, smuggled out before the uprising. M thinks Ben is too old and Charlotte too young, but when you see Ben wearing clean clothes and not beat up and battered, he looks a good deal younger. And if she's supposedly got her PhD, she's at least in her late 20s, not that any anthropologist ever gets their degree on time.
Was Kate's dream a real island thing, or just anxiety? How does that relate to the psychic's insistence that Claire must be the one to raise Aaron?
I am sick. Great way to start the weekend. It's beautiful out and I just want to go home and go to bed. I blame all that smoke in the T on Tuesday. Must take care of myself so that I will be all better to go see little weasels on Sunday!
