Oojami:
Chicky, although not because it is famous but because it is the first track on their first album, which I bought on a whim without having heard it.

The Changelings:
That's tough--I think maybe Epicycles.

Bjork:

oh man, that's impossible.  Um, Armenia.  No wait, Stella Maris.  No, Die Befindlichkeit des Landes.  Blume!  Oh, I give up.

PJ Harvey:
First time I made out with my future husband, PJ Harvey was singing hot and heavy on the stereo, To Bring You My Love.

Nick Cave:
Oh hell yeah.  Do You Love Me Part 2, that would be one of many.  Though a lot of the sadness is saudade-sad.

Gamal Goma:
Ha, that's a drummer.

Si Abdo!  (those of you who know the song, please read that in the girly sing song voice :)

**How did you get in to 3?
Nick Cave:
I was born to listen to Nick Cave, I think.  The first person to give me a mix tape with some Nick Cave on it was my old high school friend who now runs with skinheads in Florida.

Most likely, Cantus.

Natacha Atlas:
Kidda, I think.  Though I have to admit an undying love for the overplayed I Put a Spell on You, I help to overplay it.

Sami Aly:
None.

**What is a good memory you have concerning 8?
The Changelings:
My first belly dance solo was to Johnny Ether's Great Escape.  I was terrified but it was the launch of my gothic belly dance career.

No, it's kind of hard to imagine a sad tabla solo.

At the moment possibly Relic Song, though since Sredni Vashtar is about a ferret I am quite partial to that one too.

Once.  I performed onstage with them, too.

Gamal Goma:
That would be the only one I own, Shake Me Ya Gamal.

Sami Aly:
Dancing to Si Abdo and getting in touch with my inner bint al baladi.

Hmm, can't say I listen to them for the lyrics, though the second album is a little more interesting in that regard.  But how can you not love:
